El Journal Water está preparando un nuevo número especial de acceso abierto titulado: “Water Governance, Stakeholder Engagement, and Sustainable Water Resources Management”.
El proceso de envío de abstracts está abierto hasta el 20 de Febrero de 2016.
Los Doctores Sharon B. Megdal, Susanna Eden (Universidad de Arizona) y el Dr. Eylon Shamir del Hydrologic Research Center (USA) son los editores invitados. Hasta la fecha se han recepcionado 14 abstracts.
Este entregable está centrado en las relaciones entre la gobernanza del agua, la captación de los agentes locales, medidas enfocadas al desarrollo, soluciones y desafíos técnicos en la gestión del agua, dentro del marco establecido por las limitaciones legislativos, financieras, etc.

Prof. Dr. Sharon B. Megdal, Dr. Susanna Eden, both of the University of Arizona (USA), and Dr. Eylon Shamir, of the Hydrologic Research Center (USA), are serving as Guest Editors for this issue.
This Special Issue of Water will focus on the relationship of water governance practices and stakeholder engagement approaches to the development, evaluation, and adoption of solutions to water management challenges. It is well recognized that the human dimensions of considering alternative water management scenarios and policy options are as least as important as their engineering, hydrological, and financial aspects.
