Hace ya más de un año y con la intención de brindar apoyo a la candidatura para celebrar el congreso ISMAR 10 en Madrid, se creó una red de trabajo sobre los proyectos de I+D relacionados con la técnica Managed Aquifer Recharge (o recarga artificial).
La red, inicialmente constituida por 14 proyectos y Action Groups relacionados con la “recarga artificial” empezó su intercambio de información con varias premisas:
-apoyo a la candidatura (ya real), con involucración de la mayor parte de los coordinadores de los proyectos en el comité científico
- intercambio de información vía coordinadores, quienes deciden las noticias más importantes para reenviar a sus respectivos grupos
- apertura a nuevos miembros
- colaboración conjunta.
Esta red contó con el apoyo de la Comisión Europea a través de la EIP Water.
Gracias a esta red la técnica MAR ha quedado, de alguna manera, ORGANIZADA A NIVEL EUROPEO, con una red de trabajo que involucra a la mayor parte de los agentes relacionados con ella.
Recientemente se han integrado dos nuevos grupos de trabajo vinculados a los proyectos REWAT e INOWAS. De este modo ya hay 16 proyectos abiertos o recientemente cerrados pero con actividad y dos Action Groups; WIRE y MAR to MAR-k€t WG.

About a year ago and with the intention of supporting the candidacy to host ISMAR 10 conference in Madrid in 2019 May was created the MAR Pan-European network involving most of the projects related to MAR, Managed Aquifer Recharge (or artificial recharge) technique.
The network, initially organized 14 projects and Action Groups related to "artificial recharge" and began to share and exchange information with several premises:
-Support for the (now real) candidacy, with involvement of the vast majority of the coordinators in ISMAR10 Scientific Committee
-Exchange of information via coordinators, who decide the most important news/events to be forwarded to their respective groups
-Openness to new members
-Joint collaboration.
This network had the support of the European Commission through the EIP Water.
Thanks to this technical Network, MAR is, in some way, organized at European level nowadays and most of the agents related to MAR are connected within Europe.
Two new projects have recently been integrated: REWAT and INOWAS. Thus there are 16 projects open or recently closed but still active and two Action Groups; WIRE and MAR to MAR-k€t WG.
